Gov Abba Consoles the Families of Sheikh Yusuf Ali, Babandede over the death of their patriarchs

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has consoled the families and Gaya Emirate over the passing away of Sheikh Yusuf Ali (Sarkin Malaman Gaya) who died yesterday night following a protracted illness.

The Governor also condoled with Hadejia Emirate, people and Government of Jigawa state over the death of late Magajin Rafin Hadejia, Alh Muhammadu Babandede Sarkiki who died penultimate Sunday night in Egypt.

Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf described the death of the duo personalities as shocking and devastating considering their contributions towards the socio-cultural development of Kano and Jigawa states, and Northern Nigeria at large.

“We received with shock the saddest news of the passing away of Sheikh Yusuf Ali, a reverred islamic scholar, a preacher, a retired Upper Sharia court Judge and also that of Elder statesman, Alh Muhammadu Babandede Sarkiki, the Sarkin Rafi of Hadejia, a traditional title holder, and a humble community leader.

On behalf of the government and good people of Kano State, we wish to extend our deep sympathy and condolences to the families and emirate councils of the two personalities. May Almighty Allah in this infinite mercy grant their souls eternal rest and Jannatul Firdausi be their final abode” prayed Alhaji Abba Kabir.
