Kano state Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has led the state delegation to wedding of the son of former Kano State Governor, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, Mustapha Rabi’u Musa and Zulaihat Tijjani Bala Kalawari, a daughter of renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Tijjani Bala Kalawari.
The solemnization of the marriage was officiated by an Imam of Alfurqan Mosque, with a dowry of One Million Naira presented by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf who stood in for the groom, while Alhaji Aliyu Harazimi, Dan Amar of Kano, represented the bride.
This was made known in a statement issued by the governor’s Spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa in Kano Friday.
The wedding ceremony was graced by the groom’s father, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, Deputy Governor, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo, Speaker, Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Isma’il Jibril Falgore.
Others are Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Umar Faruk Ibrahim,Commissioners, Special Advisers, Government Officials and political appointees.
The wedding ceremony attracted guests and well-wishers from within and across the country to celebrate with Kwankwaso’s family.
As the couple embarks on their new life journey, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf wish them happiness, prosperity, and a lifelong commitment to each other.
