Gov Yusuf Commiserates with Jigawa Governor, Namadi Over Demise of Son in Auto-Crash

The Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Jigawa State, Namadi, over the demise of his eldest son, Abdulwahab Namadi, who lost his life in a tragic auto crash barely 24 hours after the paternal grandmother died.

The heartbreaking incident occurred during an already difficult time for the Jigawa State first family, barely 24 hours after the passing of Hajiya Maryam Namadi, Abdulwahab’s paternal grandmother.

In a statement by governor’s Spokesperson Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Gov Yusuf described the loss as a tremendous monumental tragedy, not only for the Namadi family but for Jigawa State and the entire region.

He commended Abdulwahab Namadi for his dedication to the progress and development of his community, describing him as a young man with a bright future. Abdulwahab Namadi will be laid to rest in Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State, in line with Islamic rites.

Governor Yusuf offered prayers for Allah’s mercy on the deceased and strength for the bereaved family to endure this painful loss.

“This is a deeply sorrowful moment for Jigawa State. I pray that Almighty Allah grants Abdulwahab eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and comforts the Namadi family and the people of Jigawa during this trying period,” Yusuf said.
