The Niger State Coordinator Global Promoters For Community Initiatives (GPFCI) Mr Kalejaye Olasunkami has championed for the speedy establishment of commission that will ensure victims of Gender Based violence (GBV ) get fairness .
He related this during a one day training workshop for Media , CBO , CSO and other stakeholders on strengthening Community active participation against gender based violence (GBV) held at Project yes hall in Gidan Matasa in Minna, Mr Kalejaye emphasized the need for stakeholders to join forces to combat the menace to the barest level.

Mr Olasunkami noted that Gender Based Violence has taken into alarming proportions in Niger state, relating the trends as alarming.
The state Coordinator said the increasing rates of gender related violence across the state and the country at large Particularly among the vulnerables stressing the importance of collective collaboration with the media in ensuring that Victims of Gender Based Violence get justice by exposing the perpetrators
Speaking further, Mr Olasunkami Kalejaye disclosed that the Global Promoters For Community Initiatives GPFCI is the implementer of the strengthening Community active participation (SCAPA GBV .2.0 with support from the Nigeria Women Trust fund aimed at addressing GBV related issues in the country.
Speaking In their separate remarks, Directors in the ministry of women affairs and that of Humanitarian and disaster management Hajiya Hajara Aliyu and that of Women affairs Mrs Mary Yisa and Hajiya Larai Adams Ibrahim appealed to the state Coordinator to always engage their respective ministry to partner with his Organization to achieve the set objectives.
They further assured engaging the media for more sensitization to ensure the public knows the importance of getting justice for the GBV victims
