Legal Counsel to the embattled Senator Natasha Akpoti – Uduaghan on Saturday, April 12th, 2025 has written the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Kayode Agbetokun, containing 9 points.

- We remain Counsel to Senator Natasha AKPOTI – UDUAGHAN hereafter known as our client.
- Our attention has been drawn to the news making round, that the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio has filed a petition against our client, distinguished Senator Natasha Akpoti – Uduaghan, alleging incitement, of the public against his person. He claimed in the petition that our client’s outburst in Okene, Kogi State. Stating that the Senate President has procured former Governor, Yahaya Bello, to orchestrate her Recall and has also instructed the former governor to Recall, kill her in Kogi State to conceal the perpetrator is false and untrue.
- The Senate President in his petition , requests the IGP, to investigate and prosecute our client , Senator Natasha Akpoti – Uduaghan.
- It is our client position the Senate President , should submit himself for FULL investigation to security agents, before any allegations of incitement against him.
- The Senate President is a “Principal Suspect” in the case of “threat of life” of the distinguished Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan, whose security details have been withdrawn, illegally at the instructions of the Senate President.
- The life of the distinguished Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan, has been exposed to all forms of existential and actual threat, both in Abuja and in Kogi State.
- We therefore call on the the Senate President to submit himself to a FULL investigation rather than divert the attention of the security agents through a bubble petition.
- It is only when the investigation has been concluded and the allegation has been shown to be false that the issue of incitement and false allegation against Senator Natasha can be entertained.
- We therefore call on the Inspector General of Police, IGP, to discountenance the Senate President’s petition as being diversionary and prejudicing of investigation.
