MARY-MAUDLINE Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifuru, the wife of the Ebonyi State Governor, has reaffirmed her commitment to serving the people of Ebonyi and Nigeria.
She made this statement while receiving the First Lady of the Year award from Sun Newspaper.
The prestigious awards ceremony took place at the Convention Center, Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
The event was organized to celebrate and recognize the outstanding achievements of critical stakeholders across various sectors in the country.
During her acceptance speech, Mrs Nwifuru expressed her gratitude to the management and staff of Sun Newspaper for the recognition and for hosting a wonderful event.
Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, who presented the award, thanked Mrs Nwifuru for her hard work and the support she extended to her husband and the people of Ebonyi State.
