Gov Abba Kabir Mourns Late Wada Sinkin

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has commiserated with the family of late Wada Sinkin who died penultimate Saturday after a protracted illness at the age of 85.

In a condolence message made available to the newsmen by his Spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Governor Abba Kabir described the death as shocking and devastating considering the contribution of the deceased in the socio-economic development not only of his constituency but the state in general.

According to the Governor, ” we received with shock but with total submission to the will of Allah the death of Alhaji Wada Sinkin, a former CRC chairman of Tarauni local government, a staunch NEPU supporter who fought bravely for the emancipation of the common man and a philanthropist.

” He was a successful business man of international repute, a honest and hardworking contractor, a respected elderstateman, and a philanthropist with sympathetic heart whose death create a wide vacuum difficult to fill.

” On behalf of the government and people of the state, I extend our deepest condolence to the family of late Wada Sinkin and pray to Almighty Allah to grant his soul eternal rest and grant him the exalted jannah.” Prayed Governor Abba.
