Speech by the Resident Amb. State of the African Diaspora(SOAD) Nigeria & The Dean of Ambassadors, South West & African Forum Federation (SWAFF)
H.E (Dr) Queen Evelyn Eyo-Honesty 11.
To mark the International Day of the African Diaspora (IDAD) on 1st July 2023.
I wish to thank the African Union and her team, and the Prime Minister Lois G. Tin , the paramount Chief of Africa &CEO Of SWAFF, HRM king Francis Kelechi Nwaneri, for honouring this day in our calendar.
This year’s IDAD day is informed by the communities and African kingdoms that out of the six areas of focus of SOAD, We are focusing on Tourism, Culture, Agriculture and Security.
This is very important because without Peace in African kingdoms and communities, the other 3 can not be initiated successfully. We therefore call on Traditional Rulers and members of chiefdoms to promote peace and shun violence.
So security must be put in place to enable a peaceful environment.
Tourism will attract people to Nigeria and africa and the surrounding Real Estate will multiply in value once the project is on in Africa and Nigeria in particular. Tourism in the nation will grow faster.
I wish to also use this event to congratulate the Prime Minister for his re-election and pay God keep and protect him.
Long live Africa
Long live Soad
Long live swaff
Long live Nigeria.
