CONDOLENCE MESSAGE

It is with a rude shock that I received the news of the death of our dear Comrade and worthy partner in progress, my sister, Aisha Kadala. I am on the Hajj pilgrimage and in the mosque and was preparing for the Jumaah prayer when the news came in.

While I express grief, I am consoled by the memories of years of good friendship we shared, and her commitment to the ideals of the journalism profession through diligent service in both her career as a staff of Aso Radio and our noble professional Union and Association where she held positions of two-time Treasurer, NUJ and Chairperson, NAWOJ, FCT, respectively.

While I condole her immediate family and NAWOJ FCT, I also pray that Allah The Most Merciful will grant her soul peaceful repose in Al Jannatul Firdous. Ameen.

May her gentle soul rest in peace, and may her memory continue to be a blessing to all of us.

Ameen.

Hajia Aisha Ibrahim
