It is said that the golden fish has no hiding place. Recently Mary Mount College Agbor, Delta State, established in 1954, FCT Chapter held its 2025 End of Year Party and our correspondent, Sharon Akuboh, interviewed the President of Abuja Chapter Joan Abdullahi, and filed this report.
WQ: What Was the Event all about?
Ans : 2025 end of year Party
WQ: Which Chapter held it and why?
Ans : Abuja Chapter, as a customary event to mark the end of the year.
WQ: Where did the reunion hold?
Ans : Pool side, Lakeview Apartments, Jabi, Abuja. On the 15th of November, 2025.
WQ: Did you carry out any project to mark the event?
Ans : Award to past Exco and inauguration of Mrs C.O Atanda-Nze as Grand Patron.
WQ : What is the success story of All of you? Hope your set all made it big?
Ans : We were able to celebrate the International Women’s Day and paid a visit to an orphanage.
WQ : What’s Your Prayers for your members ?
Ans : May God continue to bless all the members of the FCT Chapter and keep them in great Health. May they age gracefully.
WQ : On a scale of 1-10 how do you rate the school when you were there and now in terms of discipline etc what do you feel should change?
Ans : The school was very good when we were there and now even more modern. It was a school for not only the most intelligent but also the prettiest girls hence our slogan, “MMC! Pretty Girls”.
WQ : Who is your FCT Chair and how do you rate her leadership style?
Ans : President of Abuja Chapter is Joan Abdullahi, and she has a lovely personality that brings people of all walks of life together
