Minister of Women Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman Ibrahim, Marks 100 Days in Office with Women Empowerment Initiatives

On Friday, February 7, 2025, the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman Ibrahim, marked her 100 days in office with a significant empowerment initiative aimed at supporting women’s associations across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The event, which was well attended by dignitaries and stakeholders in the women’s development sector, saw the active participation of the National Council for Women Societies (NCWS) Nigeria. The NCWS delegation, led by the amiable National President, Princess Edna D.D. Azura was present to celebrate the minister’s achievements within her first 100 days in office.

In her address, Princess Edna D.D. Azura commended the Honourable Minister for her dedication and remarkable efforts in championing the cause of women in Nigeria. She urged all Nigerians to continue supporting Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman Ibrahim in her mission to uplift women and amplify their voices in society.

Furthermore, she called on Nigerian women to offer prayers for the minister, seeking divine guidance and protection as she carries out her duties.

The highlight of the occasion was the distribution of various empowerment packages targeted at young female entrepreneurs and women’s associations across the FCT, including the NCWS. These initiatives reflect the minister’s commitment to fostering economic independence and social inclusion for women.
