The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) extends its warmest Easter greetings to Christians across the World.

As we celebrate Christ’s resurrection, may it inspire hope, renewal, and unity. May His love, sacrifice, and triumph over adversity guide us towards peace, justice, and harmony.
NAWOJ National Chairperson, Hajia Aisha Ibrahim, emphasized the importance of championing truth, peace, and unity as journalists. She noted that the Easter season serves as a reminder of the responsibility of the media to foster understanding, promote ethical reporting, and contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
She further called on citizens to embrace the values of love, tolerance, and selflessness exemplified by Christ, urging Nigerians to work together in strengthening national cohesion and mutual respect despite differences.
NAWOJ also encouraged its members and media practitioners to remain steadfast in upholding professionalism and integrity, especially in times when accurate and balanced information is crucial for societal growth and stability.
May this Easter season bring joy, love, and harmony to all and inspire us to build a more compassionate and united society. NAWOJ wishes all Christians a joyous and peaceful Easter celebration.
