The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists Cross River State Chapter has commended the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Comrade Nsa Gill for the support towards the emergence of the first Female chairman of NUJ, Comrade Archibong Bassey.
The CRS NAWOJ Chairperson , Comrade Rekpene Uket made the commendation during a courtesy visit on the Chief Press Secretary to the state Governor.
Comrade Uket pledged the Association’s support to make the new Chairman succeed in her tenure as she pilots the affairs of the Union to the next level.
Responding, the CPS to the Governor charged women journalists to support the people’s First Agenda mantra by promoting the activities of the state government with credible and balanced reportage.
Comrade Gill also enjoined the women to support the new NUJ Administration led by Archibong Bassey to enable the Union advance its full course .
