NAWOJ FCT Mourns FRCN Staff, Energy Correspondent Gwamkat Lisa

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Mrs. Gwamkat Gwamzhi Lisa, a dedicated staff member of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria and an active member of the Association of Energy Correspondents Abuja FCT.

In a condolence message signed by the Chairperson of NAWOJ FCT, Bassey Ita Ikpang, the association described her sudden death as a painful loss to the journalism profession and the media community.

NAWOJ noted that the late Gwamkat Lisa was widely admired for her humility, professionalism, calm disposition, and dedication to duty, adding that she maintained cordial relationships with colleagues and friends.

The association extended heartfelt condolences to the management and staff of FRCN, members of AECAF, her station family, friends, and especially her immediate family over the irreparable loss.

NAWOJ prayed for Almighty God to grant her soul eternal rest and comfort everyone she left behind with the strength to bear the painful loss. The association also prayed for her gentle soul to rest peacefully in glory. Amen.
