Obituary Announcement
The National Secretariat of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has received with profound sadness the news of the passing of the beloved husband of our sister and committed member, Comrade Nancy Nguveren Orshi.
The National Chairperson NAWOJ, Hajia Aisha Ibrahim, describing the news, said “his death is a painful loss to the Orshi family and all those who knew and loved him. At this difficult moment, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Nancy, her children and the entire family”.
We pray that Almighty God will grant the bereaved family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss. May He comfort them, uphold them through this period of grief and grant the deceased eternal rest.
As a family of women journalists, we stand with Nancy in prayers and solidarity, and assure her that she is not alone in this moment of sorrow.
May Almighty God forgive his shortcomings, grant him eternal peace and give the family the grace to find comfort in the memories of a life shared.
May his soul rest in perfect peace. Ameen.
