NCWS Commends President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for Elevating Women into Leadership

The National Council of Women Societies (NCWS) Nigeria, under the leadership of its National President, Princess Edna D.D. Azura, warmly commends His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his recent appointment of outstanding Nigerian women into strategic national leadership positions.

We celebrate the appointment of Ms. Rinsola Abiola as the Director-General of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC), and the appointment of Hon. Ayo Hulayat Omidiran, a former House of Representatives member, as the Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission — succeeding Dr. Muheeba Dankaka.

Your Excellency, these appointments are yet another testament to your unwavering commitment to bringing Nigerian women to the forefront of governance and ensuring our voices are heard at the highest levels of decision-making. Alongside the tireless efforts of Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, you have continued to open doors of opportunity, inspire confidence, and create platforms for women to contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
