NCWS Condoles with Ex- Women Affairs Minister on the Loss of Her Son, Richard

The National Council of Women Societies (NCWS) is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mr. Richard Adamu Tallen, the son of our esteemed member and former Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen.

Dame Pauline Tallen, a devoted advocate for women’s empowerment, has been an integral part of NCWS, dedicating her life to the advancement of women’s welfare and empowerment. Her unwavering commitment to the council’s activities has been invaluable, and we appreciate her tireless efforts to promote gender equality and social justice.

The Acting National President of NCWS, Mrs. Geraldine Etuk, on behalf of the entire NCWS family, extends heartfelt condolences to Dame Pauline Tallen and her family on this irreparable loss. We share in their grief and sorrow during this difficult time, and our thoughts and prayers are with them.

As we mourn the loss of Richard Adamu Tallen, we remember his life and legacy. A graduate of Computer Science from a university in the United States, Richard leaves behind a wife and three children. May his memory be a blessing to his loved ones, and may his soul rest in perfect peace.

The NCWS family prays that God grants Dame Pauline Tallen and her family the fortitude to bear this loss. We will continue to uphold them in our thoughts and prayers during this challenging period.
