The Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Kano State Command, Dahir Lawal Yahaya, has paid a condolence visit to the National Secretary of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Comrade Wasila Ibrahim Ladan, following the passing of her beloved mother.



The NDLEA State Commander, who led the delegation to the family residence, expressed deep sympathy over the irreparable loss, describing the death of a mother as a painful experience that requires courage, faith, and the support of loved ones. He prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings, grant her Aljannatul Firdaus, and give the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the loss.
The delegation was warmly received by members of the bereaved family and the Head of Operations, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Lagos Office, Chief Mrs Ifeyinwa Omowole, who appreciated the NDLEA Commander’s thoughtful visit and words of comfort.
She described the visit as a demonstration of compassion, solidarity, and the strong bond that exists among public institutions during moments of grief.

The condolence visit featured prayers for the peaceful repose of the deceased and words of encouragement to the family, with the NDLEA Commander urging them to remain steadfast in faith and cherish the enduring legacy of their late mother. The visit further underscored the importance of empathy and support in strengthening relationships between institutions and the communities they serve.
