The Niger State Deputy Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba has urged electorates in Munya local government area of the state to maintain civility and vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the forthcoming by-election for the state house of assembly.
The Deputy Governor made the call through his press secretary Ummikhaltume Abdullahi Kuta durin the official flag-off campaigns for the by-election held at Sarkin Pawa in Munya.
Comrade Yakubu Garba who is in the company of other APC stakeholders visited other wards in the local government including Kuchi, Kabula, Gini, and Dangunu where he observed that electorates should come out and exercise their franchise in electing good representative that will galvanize development of their locality.
The Deputy Governor appealled to electorates to vote for the APC towards speedy and progressive development of the locality.
Yakubu Garba appreciates youths and women for turning out enmass, which indicates their readiness to participate in the forthcoming by-election slated for Saturday 17th of this month.
He assured the electorate of the commitment of the APC-led government of Farmer Umaru Mohammed Bago of entrenching good governance and accountability.
