Niger state first Lady Fatima Umaru Bago has reaffirm its commitment to uplifting women and giving them the necessary tools they need to thrive.

Fatima Umaru Bago made this known during the distribution of the second phase of women empowerment programme held at justice Legbo Kutigi International Conference Centre on Wednesday.

The first Lady disclosed that this programme is about giving women the power to build a future of dignity and self_ reliance.
“Women are the backbone of our homes and communities”,she said.
Fatima Bago mentioned this items as key to unlocking new opportunities, while urging the beneficiaries to use them to grow their business support their families ,as well inspire other women around them.

She also appreciated the first lady of the federal republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu for her unwavering commitment towards women empowerment, saying her passion and dedication are evident in initiative like this which will benefit 18,500 women across the country as Niger state is among the first.
Earler, In her welcome remarks the Commissioner for SmaIl Medium and micro enterprise Hon. Elizabeth Shaba commended the effort of Niger state Governor’s wife in collaborating with the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) and office of the senior special assistant to the president on SDGs for making this become reality.
Elizabeth shaba also used this medium to appeal to women for the judicious use of this item not to indulge in selling the items.

Speaking in their separate goodwill messages ,the Emir of Minna ,APC state women leader,Director General ,SDGs Niger state and Commissioner for women Affairs and social Development applauded Governor Bago for always championing the cause of women .
Items distributed for women from Zone B and C are Deep chest freezers ,maxi cookers with oven ,generators, and industrial grinding machine.
