The Medical and health workers Union of Nigeria MHWUN women committee, Niger State council is participating in the leadership and development workshop for the northern zone.
The event which is taking place in Jigawa State is bringing together women leaders from across the region to enhance skills and knowledge in trade union leadership.
Leader of the Niger State council, comrade Aisha Garba Paiko while commending the chairman of the union Comrade Abubakar Usman Dabban for sponsoring the team to attend the important event said empowering women reflects his dedication to the growth and development of the union.
She also expressed gratitude for his tireless efforts in promoting the welfare of members and his commitment to advancing the cause of women in leadership positions.
The theme for the workshop is Advancing women skills in trade union leadership towards just transitioning in the health sector.
