The Management of New Edo Line Transport Company wishes to formally address the public regarding the postponement of the company’s official launch, which was earlier scheduled to take place today.
According to a Press Release made available to the Press, by Imuetinyan Otuomagie, the Managing Director/CEO New Edo Line Limited, the postponement, was due to a Presidential directive for a 3-day mourning issued in honour of the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari, a Statesman whose legacy is being respectfully acknowledged nationwide.
While we fully align with the national mood of mourning and the need to pay tribute to a former President of the Federal Republic, we deeply regret the timing of the development, especially as several dignitaries, special guests, stakeholders, and members of the public had already arrived or were en route to the venue before the directive took effect.
We sincerely apologize for all the inconveniences this unforeseen shift may have caused and thank everyone for their understanding, patience, and continued goodwill.
The vision of New Edo Line remains firm: to deliver a safe, reliable, affordable, and modern transport system for all. This brief delay does not dampen our resolve, it only strengthens our commitment to serve Edo State and Nigeria with excellence.
