Partnership Talks
The Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS), FCT Chapter, led by the Chairman, QS Ahmed Usman Kankia, FNIQS, paid a courtesy visit to the leadership of the Police Community Relations Committee – PCRC at the National Headquarters Abuja yesterday.
The delegation was received by the PCRC Deputy National Chairman, Amb. Wada Sadiq Abubakar, who represented the National Chairman, Alh. Mogaji Ibraheem Olaniyan.
In his remarks, the National Chairman, through his Deputy, warmly welcomed the partnership and gave a detailed briefing on key PCRC ongoing projects, with special emphasis on the Safe School Club Initiative aimed at strengthening security in schools across the country.
Also, in attendance were:
- Prof. Theophilus Ndubuaku – PMU Community Crime Research and Response Bureau Chief / LOC Chairman
- Amb. Austin Young – National Coordinator, PCRC Monitoring unit / Training convener
- QS Prince Patrick – Head, QS Cluster, PCRC monitoring unit
- QS Inuwa Umar Yandagi – Head, Estate Cluster, PCRC monitoring unit
The meeting explored areas of collaboration between NIQS and PCRC, particularly in infrastructure support, project monitoring, and community-based security interventions.
Both institutions expressed commitment to deepening the partnership for the benefit of national security and professional development.
