The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), FCT Chapter, has expressed sincere appreciation to the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Les by Comrade Alhassan Yahya, for the remarkable success of the 70th Anniversary celebrations. The association’s chairperson, Bassey Ita Ikpang, extended heartfelt gratitude to key individuals who contributed to the event’s success.

To Dr. Bimbo Oyetunde, The Deputy National President we praise you for exceptional leadership and commitment, which left an unforgettable mark on the event You Chaired the Committee.

Our own dear Comrade Grace Ike, The Council Chairman was commended for her pivotal role as the host Chair, providing leadership, support, and coordination that delivered a memorable event.
The NAWOJ FCT celebrates the awards and recognition given to its national leadership, past and present. The association congratulated all recipients on their well-deserved honors, particularly National Chairperson Comrade Aisha Ibrahim, whose inclusive and people-centered leadership was acknowledged.

Appreciation to NAWOJ Members
The chapter saluted past leaders for their tireless service and continued support, acknowledging the legacies they have built. Appreciation was also extended to all NAWOJIANS who participated in the celebration, with prayers for safe journeys back to their destinations.
