…Pledge total support and votes
In continuation of the NUJ FCT Election 2024 campaign by the Grace Ike Campaign Council (GICC), the chairmanship hopeful for the council, Comrade Grace Ike and her team on Tuesday received massive endorsements from members of the Senate Press Corps, Flame FM and FCTA chapels.
The members of the various chapels during the campaign tour to their chapels welcome the teams warmly endorsing their aspirations and keyed into the One Voice New Era movement.
The various chapels, while pledging their total support, assured the team of 100 per cent of the votes on election day.
Other aspirants vying for various positions in the council include, Comrade Yahaya Ndambabo for Vice Chairman, Comrade Jide Oyekunle for Secretary of Council and Comrade Sandra Udeike for Treasurer.
Grace in her remarks highlighted her manifesto to include improved welfare, transparency, accountability, inclusivity, infrastructure development, amongst others and called on members of the various chapels to turn out en-mass to vote for her and others in the team on December 4, 2024 and join them to take the council to an enviable height.
Present during the chapel to chapel campaign include former chairman of council, Comrade Paul Ella Abechi , DG of GICC, Prof Philip Nyam, former Chairpersons of NAWOJ FCT Comrade Joy Idam, Comrade Felicia Chukwurah and other notable members in the campaign council.
Highpoints of the exercise are presentations of campaign materials including face caps, t-shirts, posters, brochures to the chairmen of the various chapels.
