The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Council has felicitated with the management and staffers of Christian Broadcasting Network, home of Flame Chapel on the occasion of their 30th Anniversary in Nigeria.
In a statement released in Abuja Wednesday, jointly signed by Comrades Osaretin Osadebamwen and Ochiaka Ugwu, Chairman and Secretary of Council respectively, it noted that the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) as a global nonprofit ministry had demonstrated the love of God by sharing the Gospel through traditional and digital media, caping it up with various humanitarian aids it has embarked on.
“On behalf of NUJ FCT Council, we congratulate the management and staff of Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) home of Flame Chapel of NUJ FCT on their 30th anniversary. Over the years, the CBN Media has taken a worthy place in the information space of the country, having established itself as an authoritative source of timely and reliable information that uplifts humanity in all ramifications.
“It is however, gratifying to note that CBN also makes a significant contribution to promoting the image and human capital potential of the nation in the international arena.
“Again, it has been playing an essential role in reporting on the public agenda around key developments, informing its readership about Nigeria, and connecting its audience to the world. This was redefined with launching of its premier TV channel Flame TV in 2019. A family-themed, faith-based TV channel that offers holistic content for children, young people, and adults.
“We are happy that a close partnership has developed between NUJ and CBN media over time through the instrumentality of Flame Chapel which its relationship with NUJ is not only cordial, but rewarding.
“As a council, we wish to express our sincere gratitude for the successful cooperation. It is always a great honor for us, as well as for our colleagues, to cooperate with CBN Media.
“With all sense of commitment and goodwill, we wish CBN media God’s abundance favour, excellent journalistic works, more creative victories, good health, and prosperity.
