The Deputy Youth Leader of the People’s Democratic Party, Elder Tim Osadalor on Monday reacted to the statement made by the Governors under the platform of the party in Asaba endorsing the Ude-Okoye as the National Secretary. PDP Deputy Youth Leader says they were misguided Statement.
Speaking with journalists shortly after the Edo State Governorship Election Tribunal sitting at the National Judiciary Institute, Abuja said the facts of the matter speaks for itself, adding that, “The law is very clear that there is a stay of execution that Sam Anyanwu should stay pending the judgement from Supreme Court.”
He further made it clear that Senator Sam Anyanwu is not a product of the Governors forum but a product of the convention and constitution of the party.
“So, the statement made by the Governors in Asaba is a political statement that is not guided by law. The governors forum is just an advisory body.
“But I know that the Governors under the PDP platform want an end to the crisis, that doesn’t mean they should create another evil crisis within the crisis again.
“So , we all should be guided, unless there is a superior judgement to that of the appeal court, or otherwise vacation of the stay of execution, then Sam Anyanwu remain the National Secretary.
“Today, senator Iyochia Ayu my chairman is at home because he obeyed court order, therefore, the Court has ordered that Sam Anyanwu should stay pending the supreme Court judgement. So, the Governors should be guided by the laws of the land which is superior to any office in this country.”
