The NUJ President, Chief Chris Isiguzo (MON) is among over seventy personalities from different parts of the Country that have been nominated by the Kogi State Government for its maiden state honour awards.
Comrade Ali Atabor said the NUJ President has been outstanding in the discharge of his responsibilities as the number one Journalist in Nigeria and also as President of Federation of African Journalists, FAJ.
The Publisher of Omanews stated that Chief Chris Isiguzo (MON) multiple awards and recognitions from state, national and international levels is indicative of his unwavering commitment and steadfast contributions to the enhancement of the wellbeing of working journalists and the media industry in the Country.
Comrade Ali Atabor who is a former Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Kogi state Council and also a national Trustee of NUJ, commended Chief Chris Isiguzo (MON) for his innovative and proactive ideas which has made the Union under his leadership to be reckoned with among critical stakeholders in the Country.
Comrade Ali Atabor enjoined the NUJ President to sustain the sterling qualities that made it possible for him to be recognized within and outside the media industry.

The maiden Kogi State Government service honor awards which also have a former military President, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida as well as former Chief Executives of the State on the list of awardees, will hold on Friday, the twenty sixth of this month in Lokoja, the State capital.
