The Resident Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Upper Room Assembly, Parish, Piwoyi, Abuja Under Province 10, Pastor Idowu Yusuf (RT) on Sunday 21st January 2024, clocked 60 and the entire workers and members surprised him with an amazing birthday cake and gifts to appreciate his spiritual guidance.
Speaking to Weekenders Magazine, Deaconess Ronke Osundiya, noted that she was happy to be part of the event as the Resident Pastor of the parish is a gentleman of God, who takes out time to follow up on members spiritual growth through prayers and other support. “Thus on this special occasion of his diamond birthday we decided to reciprocate”.
Pst Idowu Yusuf, is a phenomenal, Man of God who goes out of his way to follow up on the members. He knows each parishioner by name and loves the children. He simply is an Amazing shepherd. Reason the members adore him.
Speaking with Weekenders Magazine, Pst Yusuf said he was not expecting anything. But on arrival at the Church today ” i noticed decorations and a birthday cake, the members started singing for me and presented me with various gifts. I return all the glory to God”.
On his advise to youth he told them to “always put God first in whatever you do and he in turn will take your business seriously”. He thanked the General Overseer Bishop Enoch Adeboye, for giving him the opportunity to serve.
