Alhaji Isma’il Yusuf Ashafa (Sardaunan Ikulu), has been honoured and decorated with the coveted G4 Media International Award as Ambassador of Peace and Mirror of Savannah Youths for his Outstanding quality leadership and untiring dedication to worthy cause through youth, women empowerment for national development.
According to the Chairman G4 Media International Dr Emmanuel Stephen, “the conferment of Award on Alhaji Ismail Yusuf Ashafa is because he earned it. He is a Phenomenal gentle man with a heart of gold. Who has continued to place others above himself”.
In a Press Statement issued by the Sardauna’s Media Team noted that the award ceremony took place at the Palace of Agwom Akulu, the Paramount Ruler of Ikulu Chiefdom. The event was well attended by top notch government officials, politicians and traditional rulers, shortly after the coronation of Barr. Chris Umaru as the Magajin Garin Ikulu by the Ikulu Chief.
The Sardauna was also conferred as Fellow of the Institute of Criminal Justice and Criminology Administration, Lagos, for his humanitarian gestures and promoting Rule of Law through his political philosophy in Nigeria.
Other award recipients during the event include; a gold medal to Hassan Musa, Sardauna’s Media Aide and Personal Secretary, whose office, according to the Chairman of G4 Media International, Dr. Emmanuel Stephen, the award is for “remarkably playing the role of marketing Alhaji Ashafa and his activities to the world.”
Agwom Akulu II also got a gold medal as Pacesetter and Peace-Builder with a Difference. G4 Media is an international media organisation with over 25 media affiliation in Nigeria and West Africa.
