Sen Ken Eze Salutes Minister of Works on His 62nd Birthday

The Senator representing Ebonyi Central Senatorial District and Chairman, Senate Committee on Information and National Orientation, Senator Engr. Ken Eze, has felicitated with the Honourable Minister of Works, Senator Engr. David Nweze Umahi, on the occasion of his 62nd birthday.

In a goodwill message made available to the press, Senator Eze hailed Umahi as an “infrastructural doyen, visionary leader, and renowned builder of men,” adding that the celebration marks not just a personal milestone but a national moment of reflection on excellence and service.

“Your Excellency, the Grandmaster of Infrastructure and great builder of men, celebrating you at 62 is not merely about marking another year,” Senator Eze said. “It is a commemoration of a life dedicated to excellence, human capital development, and monumental infrastructural transformation.”

He praised Umahi’s record as a two-term Governor of Ebonyi State, particularly his groundbreaking projects in roads, flyovers, health, and education, describing them as “iconic legacies that have redefined modern governance.”

Senator Eze also commended Umahi’s current role as Minister of Works, noting that under his stewardship, “Nigeria is witnessing an unprecedented revolution in national infrastructure.”

“You have consistently demonstrated unwavering patriotism, mentorship, and innovative leadership. Your golden footprints in nation-building and your transformative touch on Nigeria’s infrastructural landscape are legendary,” he added.

The Senator prayed for continued health, wisdom, and strength for Umahi, urging him to remain steadfast in his commitment to national development.

“On behalf of my family and the good people of Ebonyi Central Senatorial District, I wish you a joyful celebration and many more fruitful years ahead. Congratulations and happy birthday to the great Akubaruoha 1 of Igbo Land,” he said.
