Let’s take a stand against hepatitis and work together to break down the barriers that prevent us from accessing prevention, diagnosis, and treatment”.
According to the Chairperson SWS FCT,
“Hepatitis is a serious health issue that affects millions of people worldwide. It’s essential that we raise awareness about the disease, its causes, and its consequences. By doing so, we can empower women to take control of their health and seek medical attention if necessary”.
SWS FCT Chapter tasks People to voluntarily go for screening. “Many people living with hepatitis are unaware of their status. We urge all women to get tested and know their hepatitis status. Early diagnosis and treatment can save lives. Let’s encourage each other to take this crucial step towards our health and well-being”.
Let’s adopt safe health habits, such as avoiding sharing sharp objects and ensuring blood transfusions are screened. Vaccination against Hepatitis B is also safe and effective. By taking these simple steps, we can significantly reduce the risk of contracting hepatitis.
SWS FCT Chapter declares that “We must also support women living with hepatitis and provide them with the care and compassion they need. Let’s create a supportive environment that encourages women to seek help and treatment. By doing so, we can help them live healthy and fulfilling lives”.
This year’s theme : Breaking Down Barriers
There are many barriers that prevent women from accessing hepatitis prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. These barriers include lack of awareness, stigma, and limited access to healthcare services. Let’s work together to break down these barriers and ensure that all women have access to the healthcare they need.
Empowering women is crucial in the fight against hepatitis. By providing women with the knowledge and resources they need, we can empower them to take control of their health and make informed decisions about their well-being.
