The International President of Standup For Women Society (SWS) has joined the Christian faithful across the globe to celebrate Easter, which marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The International President Barr. Deborah Ijadele-Adetona through the association’s Public Relations Officer, Lib. Billie Nwogu urged Christians to use the occasion to pray for the nation and the transition moment that will have the new President-elect, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu sworn in, on May 29, 2023, in less than two months.
Adetona further advised Nigerians to embrace peace and unity which are part of the ingredients to build a greater and better society that we will continue to be proud of at all times.
She said the season is not only to celebrate but to touch lives positively, giving meaning to those who have lost hope of living due to their untold challenges.
“I charge you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and the power of his resurrection to imbibe Godly values of righteousness, peace and justice. Treat one another in love, build a united Nigeria, ignore the call for a divided nation because togetherness we can win over any intruders who want to cause distractions among us”
That is ‘let us work in love, unity and faith as a means of overcoming current challenges and building a prosperous nation”
We standup for Women Society and as mothers, we will continue to pray for the progress of our children, the nation at large.” Barr. Deborah added.
