The Importance of Easter Described as Unique

The importance of Easter has been described as unique.

The Director, Connectional Ministries, United Methodist Church UMC, Rev. Dr. Micah Dopah stated this in his message during the Easter Celebration held at the United Methodist Church UMC, Nukkai, Jalingo.

“Easter is the celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which represent Christ Victory from death, the beginning of convernant between God and Man, Importance in Christian Calendar and the resurrection of Christ from the grave after the third day.

He title his message: THE SIGNIFICANT OF EASTER.

He mentioned the significance of Easter Celebration to include, Jesus Christ been alive, Rev.1:18, 1Tim. 4:10, God is true Jerem.10:10, He is the living God, Numbers 23:19, Salvation sure and 1Cor. 15:17.

“We Christians are serving a living God for he is the only true, Living and everlasting King. With him our salvation is sure, for his love has set us free and we should be proud with his name for our victory. Jesus Christ has conquered sin and set us free from all forms of sins.

The Easter Celebration concided with the Thanksgiving of the Registrar of Taraba State University, Mr. Joseph Bibinu.

The Director Connectional Ministries United Methodist Church UMC Rev Micah Dopah in his remarks urge Christians to always thank and appreciate God for what he has done in their lives.

“Blessed is the man who does not work in the council of the wicked. If you are not a true Disciple of God, you cannot thank him. The Registrar is a disciple of God that is why he have come to thank him.

“Because our brother have choose to acknowledge God’s faithfulness on his appointment, God will continue to locate him day by day amongst his enemies.

Speaking, the celebrant, Joseph Bibinu, appreciated God for his blessings on him.

“I am here to give thanks to God for what he has done for me. I have not been getting anything easy on this eath, but God has been helping me.

“God did his work on me by giving me a Job at the Taraba State University without me searching for it. I was employed as a Teacher with NCE, Level 5, but as God may have it, I got a better job. The appointment letter was brought to me at home after attending Interwie.

He appreciated Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku for appointing him to serve in the University in the capacity as Registrar.

He also appreciated all those that contributed to his success whom include, former Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Vincent Ado Tenebe, Rev. Dr. Samuel Falack former Bursar amongst others.
