The State Chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC, Barrister Ibrahim Tukur El-Sudi, has assured Tarabans that the party will win all the sixteen local governments councils of the state.
The Chairman represented by the State Secretary, Fidelis Francis, stated this while presenting flags to the Candidates of the party in Jalingo.
“We gathered here to present Flags to all candidates to go and contest for local government elections, which are Chairmanship and councilorship.
“We should go and stand firm to enable us win all seats in the sixteen local governments.
“We are ready to take over the local governments of the state come 18th November 2023.
“We were accusing the Taraba State Independent Electoral Commission of being biase, but they have promise us of conducting transparent elections which we are looking forward to that – he said.
On the security, he said that the party has confidence on the securities and will be relying on them for peaceful conduct of the elections.
In his remarks, the Northern Zone Chairman of the party, Hon. Solomon Jadanna, said that describe APC as a symbol of victory and success.
“APC will all the seats in the sixteen local governments of the state.
“Politics is not a war, but all about development – he said.
“The party is well prepared, for it has all the resources.
“We will defend our votes- he added.
He call on party candidates and supporters not to carry any form of weapons such as, cutlasses, knifes during their campaigns, adding that the party will not tolerate such.
The local government elections are slated for Eighteen of November, 2023.
