The Traditional and Religious Women Leaders Network (TARWLN) has congratulated Muslim faithful across Nigeria and beyond on the successful celebration of Eid-el-Adha, urging them to continue to uphold the values of sacrifice, peace, unity, and compassion associated with the festival.

In a goodwill message issued on Wednesday, the Director General of TARWLN, Nikky Onyeri, prayed for Almighty Allah to accept the prayers, sacrifices, and good deeds of Muslim faithful and bless their families with peace, prosperity, and abundant favour.
According to her, Eid-el-Adha remains a significant reminder of faith, obedience, tolerance, and selfless service to humanity, values which are greatly needed in building a stronger and more united society.
The organisation also joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating children across the country on the occasion of the 2026 Children’s Day celebration, describing children as the future hope and foundation of every nation.
TARWLN called on parents, community leaders, governments, and stakeholders to continue investing in the protection, education, welfare, and moral upbringing of children to enable them grow into responsible leaders and productive citizens.
