Indeed, It was a road i passed, experienced and would wish to pass over and over again in my life. A path that redefined and changed me into a person I never dreamt of being.
It all began in the month of March 2019 when I was posted to Abia state to do my NYSC at NYSC Orientation Camp Umunna Bende in Bende LGA of Abia State.
Going forward, I was posted to the Ministry of Information after the mandatory NYSC Orientation Camping. There at the Ministry of Information, God sent me a man ( Hon John Okiyi Kalu the then Commissioner for Information in Abia state) who would later become a father and a mentor to me. A man God later used to rewrite my life’s story.
He discovered me and made me his son, I was posted on Special Duties at Government House by him. It was a rare privilege and in turn wonderful experience working with different media house reporters. It was a dream come true for me.
I thought it was over,vi thought he was done with me. But to my greatest surprise, after my NYSC on the 5th of March 2020 i was told to stay back and work closely with him in his Office, it was another wonderful journey filled with memorable experience.
God was not done with me, in January 26th 2022 I was appointed Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Abia State on Media and later in December. I was promoted to the position of Senior Special Assistant to the Governor.
God simply used Hon John Okiyi Kalu to embellish my Service year and give my life an unforgettable facelift. To God be the glory and honour.
Thank you Sir, I am very grateful to you and the Executive Governor of Abia State Dr Victor Okezie Ikpeazu. Sir, keep on playing politics without boundaries.
