The Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Barr. Abdulmalik Sarkin-Daji, has congratulated the Governor of Niger State, Umaru Bago, on the occasion of two years in office on May 29, 2025.
On behalf of the leadership and members of the 10th Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sarkin-Daji commended Governor Bago through Ag HOD media and public Relations Mairo Mani
of his administration numerous achievements.
According to the statement Governor Bago’s leadership, Niger State has witnessed a significant agricultural revolution, transforming the state into a hub for agricultural productivity. The administration’s focused on infrastructural development has also improved the state’s roads, bridges, and public facilities, enhancing the quality of life for Nigerlites.
The Speaker further highlighted the administration’s efforts in employing indigenes and non indigenes in the civil service, reducing unemployment and promoting economic growth.
He assured Governor Bago of the 10th Assembly’s continuous support and commitment in legislating laws that will benefit the people of Niger State.
“We are proud of the progress made so far under Governor Bago’s leadership, and we pledge to work closely with his administration to drive development and growth in Niger State,”he said.
The Speaker’s congratulatory message is a testament to the strong working relationship between the Executive and Legislative arms of government in Niger State.
