2023: DG NDGD FLAG OFF NEW NIGERIA DREAM PROJECT

Ahead of the 2023 General elections, the Director General, New Dream for Grassroots Development (NDGD), Dr Onwubuya J.A Breakforth flagged-off the New Nigeria Dream Project today at a Town Hall Meeting to feature Presidential flagbearers of the 18 political parties.

The programme which was organized by the NNDI at the Nicon Luxury Hotel in Abuja had in attendance the following Presidential aspirants in the first Session, His Excellency Senator Musa Rabiu kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).

Others includes; His Excellency, Osakwe Felix Johnson of National Renewal Movement (NRM) Major General Hamza Mustapha of Action Alliance (AA), and His Excellency, Ado-Ibrahim Abdulmalik of Young Progressive Party (YPP).

Addressing participants in his welcome address at the Town Hall meeting, Dr Breakforth said the essence of the meeting is to assist the electorates make informed decisions as to who to elect among the 18 Presidential Candidates and to make room for direct communication between the people at the grassroot and the candidates.

The conversation for the Presidential Candidates he noted must be sustained untill elections are over adding that 2023 Presidential elections is not an ordinary election.

“It is everything in one-decider of our fate, a decider of our future, that of our collective happiness and a conscience effort to ending what has become a protracted anathema of unproductive leadership bedeviling our country”

He continued “we are not in support of any candidate but we would move our great multitude towards a candidate who proves to have answers and capabilities to building a new Nigeria”

The NDGD Boss explained further that going to the polls to elect leaders of state comes with lots of responsibilities, to our children, their future and the nation adding that whatever decision one makes while voting alone inside that secret box makes or mar the country, he concluded.

Earlier in their presentations while addressing delegates drawn from the various wards, the Presidential candidate, of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), His Excellency, Ado Ibrahim promised to reset the nation by focusing on electricity to address the problem of inadequate electricity supply.

The Presidential candidate for Action Alliance (AA), His Excellency, retired Major General, Al-mustapha Hamza lamented over the high rate of insecurity in the country and promised to tackle the problem if elected President of the nation. He also promise to reposition the police and Nigeria to greatness, dignify women and empower the youths.

The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPC), Presidential Candidate promised to bring in his wealth of experience across the sectors especially in Health Care to reduce the rate of maternal mortality.
