The Coordinator of Ubeyi Development Center, Hon Aisha Nwachi on Thursday,22nd May 2025 marked her 100 Days in Office with fanfare. The Chairman Afikpo Local Govt Area of Ebonyi State, Hon Nwachi Timothy encouraged Coordinators to be people oriented in discharging their duty.
While some political pundits may be of the opinion that 100 days is too short a period to assess the performance or otherwise of any governments, however, they are a few government officials who have demonstrated awesome tenacity by hitting the ground running immediately after assumption of office.The Coordinator of Ubeyi Development Center,Hon. Aisha Nwachi no doubt, is among them.

That was why Stakeholders and people of the Development Center rolled out drums to celebrate in grand style a quintessential woman who has recorded significant milestone within her 100 days in office as their Co-ordinator.

Addressing the people of the area at the DC Headquarters,Leelu, the Executive Chairman of Afikpo Local Government Area, NWACHI, Timothy A. U commended Hon Aisha Nwachi for her unwavering commitment to implementing people- oriented projects, policies, and programs aimed at redefining the political landscape of the Development Center and urged her to remain focused in the visions she has for her people.

Represented by his Chief of Staff, Apostle Dr. Agha Peter Uduma, the Council Chairman who identified the collaborative efforts of the DC Coordinators in delivering democratic dividends to those at the grassroots, charged other Coordinators to ensure proficiency and effective service delivery by bringing meaningful development to the doorsteps of their people.

On her part, the Chairperson of Afikpo Local Government Area,Mrs. Keziah Uduma Nwachi who expressed satisfaction that women when given opportunity to serve do perform creditably, applauded Governor Nwifuru for appointing Hon Aisha Nwachi as their Coordinator and assured that the women of the DC will continue to support her to deliver good governance.

In her remarks, the Coordinator of Ubeyi Development Center, Hon Aisha Nwachi who appreciated the State Governor, Rt Hon Builder Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and wife, Chief (Mrs) Mary-Maudaline Uzoamaka Nwifuru for considering her worthy to serve as the Coordinator of Ubeyi DC, disclosed her resolute commitment to the improvement of the living condition of the people of the Center in line with the People’s Charter of Needs agenda of Gov Nwifuru’s led administration
While enumerating some of her achievements within the 100 days in office, Hon Aisha Nwachi appreciated Party members, Civil servants, traditional Council of Elders among others for their cooperation and solicited for more support from stakeholders to enable her deliver satisfactorily.
