The Anti-Kidnapping, Human Trafficking, Child Abuse and Drugs Abuse Initiative (AKH-TRACADA) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nigeria’s security agencies for the successful rescue of teachers and pupils abducted in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The commendation was contained in a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja and signed by the Founder and National Coordinator of the organisation, Primate Belonwu Ezeanyaeche.

AKH-TRACADA praised President Tinubu for his unwavering support to security agencies and lauded the professionalism, courage and commitment displayed by the operatives during the rescue mission.
According to Ezeanyaeche, the successful operation underscores the Federal Government’s determination to protect the lives and property of Nigerians while demonstrating the resilience and effectiveness of the nation’s security architecture.
“We warmly commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and our gallant security operatives for their professionalism, courage and unwavering commitment in the successful rescue of the kidnapped victims,” the statement said.
The organisation noted that the operation reflected the dedication of security agencies to safeguarding communities from criminal elements, adding that their coordinated efforts and sacrifices deserve the appreciation of all Nigerians.
AKH-TRACADA also expressed relief over the safe return of the victims, extending sympathy to them and their families for the trauma they endured during their captivity. It called for adequate medical, psychological and emotional support to aid their recovery.
While celebrating the successful rescue, the organisation stressed that tackling kidnapping and other violent crimes requires collective action. It urged Nigerians to continue supporting security agencies by providing credible and timely intelligence that would help prevent criminal activities and facilitate prompt intervention.
The group further called on law enforcement authorities to ensure that those responsible for the abduction are arrested and prosecuted in accordance with the law, noting that dismantling criminal networks remains essential to improving public safety and strengthening citizens’ confidence in the nation’s security system.
AKH-TRACADA reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at promoting peace, security and the protection of vulnerable members of society.
Since its establishment, the organisation has continued to champion campaigns against kidnapping, human trafficking, child abuse and drug abuse while collaborating with relevant government institutions and security agencies to advance public safety and national development.
