The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ Akwa Ibom State Chapter congratulates Comrade Aisha Bura on her emergence as the National Chairperson of the Association together with other Officers elected at the just concluded 11th Triennial National Delegates Conference in Abuja.
NAWOJians in Akwa Ibom State are ready to work with the new Administration, contributing our quota to a greater NAWOJ of robust activities and more accomplishments.
We also congratulate the immediate past Administration of Ladi Bala on the successes recorded. We particularly celebrate our own, the immediate past National Secretary of the Association Helen Udofa who had shown great capacity and competence in discharging her responsibilities effectively with finesse and diligence.
Kudos our Pride, we pray God to reward you accordingly.
We congratulate the Deputy National Chairperson of NAWOJ Dr Lilian Okonkwo – Ogabu on her victory for a second term in office We also extend our warm congratulations to the National Secretary Wasilah Ibrahim-Ladan, Treasurer, Fatima Rasheed, Financial Secretary, Ifeoma Aka, Assistant Secretary Aisha Cole and Internal Auditor, Jamila Chinwe Abubakar. The Zonal officers are not left out, particularly the Zone F Chairperson Comrade Stella Macauley and Secretary Eunice Emeyazia.
Special thanks to the Chairman of NUJ, Akwa Ibom State Council, Comrade Amos Etuk for the fatherly role he played before, during and after the Delegates Conference. You are a father indeed.
