The Executive Chairman of Afikpo Local Government Area, Hon Engr Timothy Uduma Nwachi (Okwuroha), Friday, flagged off the National Population Commission Child birth registration in partnership with United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
The Council Boss, Charged the people to comply with the National Population Commission, for the registration of Child birth, stating that this will help to plan properly for the people.
He Urged them to do so for the children to enable them enjoy social and official benefits in the country, within the LGAs, State Governments and Nation.
The National Coordinator applauded the people for their high speed registration and encouraged them to increase their workforce.
The Executive Chairman in his closing remarks thanked the Ad-hoc staff for their contributions and commitments and promised a motivational package based on their performance.
He immediately awarded a cash reward to the leading Ad-hoc staff Mrs Margaret Ogechi with three hundred Child registration, with a big undisclosed amount.
