The people of Dabban Community have expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the Federal Executive Council (FEC) for the approval of the ₦78 billion Dabban Manigi Road Project, describing it as a landmark intervention that will transform transportation, boost economic activities, and enhance the quality of life of residents.
The community said the approval reflects the Federal Government’s commitment to improving critical infrastructure and addressing developmental needs across the country. According to residents, the road project will strengthen connectivity, ease the movement of people and goods, and create new opportunities for trade, agriculture, investment, and social development along the corridor.
A key advocate who contributed to efforts toward securing the project approval, but requested anonymity, described the development as the outcome of years of persistent engagement and advocacy aimed at highlighting the strategic importance of the Dabban Manigi Road.
The advocate commended President Tinubu for his leadership and commitment to equitable infrastructure development, while also appreciating the Federal Executive Council for approving the project, which he described as timely and responsive to the needs of the people.
He noted that the completion of the road would address longstanding transportation challenges, improve access to markets and services, and contribute significantly to the economic growth of communities within the area.
The people of Dabban also acknowledged the efforts of all stakeholders whose contributions and support helped facilitate the approval of the project. They expressed confidence in the Federal Government’s commitment to delivering impactful projects that improve the lives of citizens.
The community further called on the contractors handling the project to ensure quality execution, adherence to standards, and timely completion. They pledged their support and cooperation throughout the implementation process.
