As Edo State marks 35 years of its creation, I join millions of Edo people at home and in the diaspora in celebrating our remarkable journey of resilience, unity, and development. This anniversary is not merely a commemoration of the past, it is a moment to reflect on the strength, courage, and determination that have continued to define our people.
Over the years, Edo has remained a land of rich history, enduring culture, intellectual excellence, and extraordinary human capital. From our ancient heritage to our contributions to national development, the Edo spirit has consistently demonstrated that when our people unite around a common purpose, there is no limit to what we can achieve.
As we celebrate this historic moment, we must renew our collective commitment to putting Edo first, promoting peace and unity, empowering our people, and supporting initiatives that will create greater opportunities for our youths and improve the quality of life across our communities.
