The Provost of FCT College of Education, Zuba, Dr. Sule Mundi has disclosed that arrangements have been concluded for the 3rd combined convocation of the College this Saturday, five years after.
Mundi, who declared that the College is fully ready for the convocation, said over a thousand graduands from 28 programmes in the College will be awarded the prestigious Nigeria Certificate in Education(NCE).

Making this disclosure at the pre-convocation press briefing at the main Campus of the College in Zuba, Abuja, he noted that the College have not had convocation since February of 2020.
According to him: “We will be convocating 5 sets of graduates in the College during the 2024 convocation.
He noted that out of which 11 best students will be honoured during the convocation.

He stated further that the College is set to receive the Honourable Minister, FCT as the visitor to the School and other Dignitaries.
He highlighted the various programmes lined up for the much anticipated ceremony which includes , an academic event (Convocation lecture) in which an erudite and distinguished Professor from Bayero University Kaduna (BUK) has been invited adding that the college community and our guests are going to benefit from such a lecture.

He explained further that the Convocation is going to be well attended giving the robust relationships created by the school management which has enhanced the College reputation image.
Furthermore, the Provost said the management of the institution under his leadership to prioritize the quality of its academic programmes leading to outstanding performances by Students in any Examinations adding that the curticulum upgrades and partnerships with key Stakeholders in Education have solidified its reputation for academic rigor and advance excellence.
The Provost reiterates his commitment to a learning environment of inclusivity , securing lives, property, providing welfare and infrastructure.
He said, the College has made significant strides in enhancing Staff welfare, including timely payment of salaries and benefits as well as improved healthcare facilities.
Mundi added that these measures have fostered motivation and dedication among staff members, ensuring a positive and productive workforce.
He noted that one of the major challenges the College had was insecurity around the 300 hectares land of the School’s Permanent site, which was tackled effectively with provision of perimeter fences, security gate house and security personnel, to boost safety of lives and property within its premises.
He expressed appreciation to the FCT Administration and Stakeholders for their unwavering support in ensuring the College continues in the path of sustainable development.
The occasion was also used to present various medals to the College Team who got a total of 13 medals at the just concluded 20th Edition of Nigeria’ Colleges of Education Games Association ( NICEGA)at Yola, Adamawa State.
