On June 4, 2025, the Honourable Minister of Works Senator Engineer David Nweze Umahi, CON, conducted an official inspection visit to the Dangote Refinery ahead of today’s commissioning and flag-off ceremony for the Dangote Tax Credit Road and other critical infrastructure projects undertaken by the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in northern Nigeria.

The projects, which are part of the Federal Government’s commitment to transforming national infrastructure, include a combination of completed and newly approved works across various northern states. Sixteen additional projects are set to be flagged off during the ceremony.

While inspecting the venue, Minister David Umahi assessed its readiness to receive dignitaries, including President Tinubu, and confirmed that all necessary preparations are in place to ensure a smooth and successful event.
“I am pleased to report that preparations are progressing well. We are confident that the event will be a grand success,” the Minister stated. “We look forward to a productive and memorable day as we mark this significant milestone in our nation’s infrastructure development.”

The event is expected to highlight the administration’s continued dedication to road infrastructure, economic growth, and regional development through strategic public-private partnerships such as the Tax Credit Scheme.
