The Taraba state governor, Dr Agbu Kefas, has condoled with his Jigawa state counterpart, Alhaji Umar Namadi, over the loss of his Mother, Hajia Maryam Namadi and son Abdulwahab Namadi.
Dr. Kefas, who described the occurrence as a terrible tragedy, prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed. He further eulogised the life and times of Governor Namadi’s late mother, whom he described as an exceptional mother in the land.

The statement reads, :”Governor Namadi may you find solace in knowing that mama lived long to witness the fruits of her great work in his life. Our mother left behind a legacy of fulfillment and the good character she bequeathed on her children and grandchildren. “
Consequently, Dr. Kefas condoled with the entire Jigawa state over the loss of Governor Namadi’s first son, Abdulwahab, noting that the occurrence is a painfully tragic one. As the first son of Gov Namadi was a grassroots mobiliser and touched lives of many in his Community and Constituency.
Praying for the family, Dr Kefas said the Almighty will continue to comfort Governor Namadi, his family, and indeed the entire people of Jigawa state. He also prayed that affliction will never arise again.
