Governor’s Aides Assure Support to TKG Activities to Succeed

Three Media Aides of Kebbi State Governor on publicity have unanimously resolved to give Tinubu, Kauran Gwandu Movement for Continuity the needed support to succeed.

The Aides include; the Commissioner for Information and Culture, Hon. Yakubu Ahmed-BK, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Ahmed Idris, Special Assistant on Communication and Strategies, Alhaji Abdullahi Zuru, Special Assistant on Media, Yahya Sarki.

They collectively gave the assurance at a stakeholders’ meeting with the management of TKG and media aids held at the conference hall of TKG.

Speaking at the meeting, the Hon. commissioner of information and culture, commended the founder of the organisation, describing TKG as a step forward towards propagating the achievements of the present administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kauran Gwandu.

He added that the present Kauran Gwandu led-administration has executed a lot of gigantic projects that not only transformed the state capital but the entire state.

“With the series of projects and level of achievements of this government since inception, our duty as information managers has been simplified.

“This is because we have an array of physical projects to showcase to the world as far as this government is concerned,” he assured.

Also speaking, the Chairman of the organisation, Alhaji Kabir Labbo-Jega, said that the aim of the meeting was to collaborate with the media to fine-tune some ways to promote the APC government from the state to national levels.

He explained further that the organisation was established with a view to promoting the policies and programmes of the present administration under the able leadership of Comrade Dr Nasir Idris as well as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This was contained in a Press Release issued by Comrade Ahmed Idris, the Chief Press Secretary to Kebbi State Governor. The chairman pointed out that the organisation would advocate support for government at the state and national levels by using their policy programmes and achievements as a yardstick.

“The operational activities will focus on creating awareness amongst the general public on government’s positive performance,” he noted.

In his remarks, the Director General of the organisation, Alhaji Kabir Sani-Giant said the organisation would also educate and mobilise people at the grassroots level to vote for the present government in view of its performance, credibility and ability to work for the good of the masses.

“Any administration with this quality deserved and qualify to be re-elected for a second term in 2027, hence the need to educate people to shine their eyes,” he said.

Sani-Giant then appealed to the media aides to support the organisation by promoting government image, while expressing readiness to carry the press along for maximum publicity.

In their separate submission, the Chief Press Secretary, Ahmed Idris, SA Media, Yahya Sarki and SA on Communication and Strategies, Alhaji Abdullahi Zuru pledged total support to enable the organisation achieve its set goals and objectives.

In attendance were; TKG Secretary, Directors and other members of the organisation.
