The Gubernatorial Candidate of the Action Peoples Party APP, Dr. Danjuma Umaru Zing has appreciated Tarabans for living in peace with each other.
He stated this during the flagg off of his Governorship Campaign in Jalingo, the Taraba State Capital.
“Let me comence by commending Tarabans for living in peace with each other and the peaceful conduct of campaigns so far and I request them to maintain the tempo throughout the 2023 campaigns.
“As Nigerians and indeed from the Northern part, historic occupation of our teeming population is farming and cattle rearing both of which are impossible without peace. It is our hope that if elected, the maintenance of peace and order shall be our priority.
According to him, Youths are the most vibrant population and hope to inculcate in them both moral and other forms of education that will make them self employed and responsible citizens.
“Women and Children shall be given proper health attention and opportunity to contribute to the economy of their communities.
He promise to make available and affordable essential commodities through the establishment of corporative activities.
“The Civil and Public Service shall be made functional and all entitlements of both serving and retired officers shall be promptly settled including arrears if any.
“The training and re training of officers shall be sustain, local government councils shall be given direct funding with guide and strong supervision by the state government.
“Social amenties for good and decent living of our communities shall be provided with affordable limits. Critical infrastructures such as Roads, Potable water, Health and Educational facilities shall be provided as a matter of necessity – he said.
He urge Tarabans to vote for the party in the coming Elections.
In his remarks, Director General of the Governorship Campaign Organization, Alhaji Faruk Waziri Kunini said that the primary aim of the Governorship Campaign Organization is to put into history politically a very standard flag off of campaign by the Governorship Candidate of the party, Dr. Danjuma Umaru Zing, not only starting his campaigns to be elected as the Executive Governor of Taraba State but clearly all doubt that he is indeed the governor in waiting to be sworn in to stere the affairs of this state come 29/may/2023.
“As DG of the campaign organization I am calling on Tarabans to ensure the collection of their Permanent Voters Cards PVC’s .
“They are also to be guided to vote wisely and of course our candidate that will for the first time in this state ensure the true exposure and enjoyment of the dividend of democracy to all of us as citizens of this beloved state without any form of discrimination.
“While thanking you all for listening kindly note that his excellency our governor in waiting will unveil to you and other Tarabans his most important and mind touching manifesto to the first of its kind to you all in order to create a brighter tomorrow for the generation now living and that yet unborn.
On his part, the State Chairman of the party, Henry Haniel Banti, call on tarabans to vote Dr Danjuma Umaru Zing of Action People’s Party, APP for peace and development of the state.
